How does a digital loyalty card work?
Customers open your sign-up link using a QR code or NFC stand. They enter their details, verify their contact and receive a personal card. At checkout, an employee scans the card’s QR code and confirms the transaction. The NFC tap makes sign-up easier; it does not award points on its own.
Points, stamps or visits: choose a simple rule
A points programme can reflect the amount spent. Stamps and visits suit regular purchases. Start with a rule your team can explain easily, an attainable reward and a cost that fits your margin. A free coffee after several visits is an example, not a rule imposed by Fideliou.
A card on the phone, without another app
Customers access their Fideliou card in the browser through a personal link. They can save it and show it on their next visit. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet require their respective services to be activated. Phone and provider settings control notification display; delivery to the screen is not guaranteed.
Let customers choose the relationship
Joining the loyalty programme is not consent to every message. Customers choose the channels they accept separately. Email, SMS and Google Wallet campaigns require activated channels and the corresponding volumes. Apple Wallet card-update alerts are not used for advertising campaigns.
What should you measure after launch?
Track registrations, recorded visits and redeemed rewards. Compare consistent periods and allow for seasonality. Revenue growth cannot automatically be attributed to your programme. The Fideliou simulator lets you explore an assumption using your average basket, margin and rewards budget.
